Punk Rock Monster Hooded Sweatshirt

You see I get pissed off easily which is one of the reasons why people do not get in to trouble with me. I was the quarterback of our team so I was really buff and making me mad would not be a good idea. Most of the time, if I get frustrated, my girlfriend turns into some sort of dumping pit – now that I have thought about it, I really could not see why she was able to stay with me so long. She has always been patient and understanding.

She told me that she was searching online for a pink sweatshirt that had a “Princess” print in her favorite sweatshirt site and she noticed a new section called monster sweatshirts. She browsed through them and saw the cool graphics and mostly metallic prints and she knew that I would love them. In fact, instead of ending up with the Princess sweatshirt that she was searching for she ended up getting a monster sweatshirt herself that had a Medusa print and ordering another one for me that had a Werewolf print.

You might be wondering why she chose a Werewolf. You see, my girlfriend was a Twilight saga fanatic and loved the werewolves. She read in the book that werewolves were very buff and short tempered. In fact, when they get angry, that is the time they transform into the monsters that they are. Ever since she started reading those books and the movie came out she often joked that I was her own werewolf.

When she gave me the sweatshirt she suggested that we wore our monster sweatshirts together in school. I was game for it. Everyone knew that she called me a werewolf and they immediately got the humor out of it.

I know I would never find a girl like her and that monster sweatshirt somehow reminded me of that. Now I am working on my temper which made her happy since we barely fight anymore.

My family has Irish descent and it has been a sad thing that we have never traveled to Ireland yet. My great Grandfather, an only son, migrated here in America and started the family line again on American soil. Only a few of us carried the Irish looks since most of his daughters and son took after our Grandmother, a full blooded Heinz 57 American. Ever since I found out I made efforts to keep track of my roots – it started when I noticed an Irish Hooded sweatshirt in the boutique that I normally go to and the good thing is that it was on sale. So I bought it and took it home with me.

Ever since then, I have been obsessed with anything Irish. It helped that Irish symbols were starting to become a bit popular in clothing apparel. You see I was the only one who had natural red hair in my family. My mom and dad had brown hair and my sister as well. I stood out. Now I know where the red locks come from. I was told that my great Grandfather and my Uncle had red hair as well. I wanted to know more about the Irish culture than just having an Irish sweatshirt. What I read about their culture simply amazed me. Now that March 17 is coming up, the Irish fever is definitely on.

Irish You Would Buy Me A Beer

We decided to turn it into a party. My mom cooked up an Irish menu and my sister was buying up a lot of gold, green and orange decors. We were inviting our relatives on our father’s side to celebrate our Irish heritage. We would all be wearing the Irish sweatshirt that I ordered of course. I instantly had a feeling that we were all going to have a good time with our sweatshirts.

Rasta Hooded Sweatshirt

Some people think that the music and lifestyle that I chose means trouble. Most of them think that my friends and I am a bunch of obnoxious males that no one would want to cross – especially when we gather together and go around town with loud hip hop music blasting from the car stereo. I guess this misconception is often brought about by the fact that most criminals wear a hooded sweatshirt when they do their crimes. This is because the sweatshirt makes them hard to recognize.

However, I am entirely harmless. I just love the music and would love to express that by the way I wear my clothes as well. Hip hop is not all about crime, drugs or being a bully. If people would just be a little more open minded they would be able to see that it is actually more than that. People who wear these clothes are not criminals and they are not bad people as well.

The urban clothing fashion style has greatly adopted the hip hop look with all the baggy pants, hooded sweatshirt, large jewelry, sneakers, tattoos and bandannas. This fashion style has gone through a lot of influences. I especially liked the mingling of all the different elements of hip hop – it was never stereotypical and it has also changed a lot with the passing of time. It has become a permanent part of the popular culture all over the world. I think this is one fashion trend that would not go away.

The music is great as well. My friends and I would gather together with the hooded part of our sweatshirt up and we would either dance together or do some rap songs about school problems. I can tell you that it drives a lot of girls crazy seeing us in full gear performing on stage. We even thought of trying to send a demo into one of those big recording companies. Who knows? We might even get lucky and would get to meet a lot of cool artists like Eminem or 50 Cent. I would definitely love that. So get into some Hip Hop fashion with a hooded sweatshirt.
